Since 1973, the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) has been building networks and creating opportunities for professional services firms throughout the United States and Canada. As the Michigan branch of this international organization, SMPS-Michigan is dedicated to helping marketing and business development professionals serving the built environment by providing resources, sharing knowledge, and working together to achieve common goals.

You know the benefits of attending SMPS events and programs … networking, learning, socializing, to name a few. Do you know others that would gain from those opportunities, too? Now you have one more reason to invite them to a program (other than being a good friend, that is). You could win a new iPod Nano ™! The SMPS-MI Member* bringing the most guests to programs from January to June ’09 will win a new iPod Nano ™. This could be you!

Upcoming programs include Managing Change” in February, Branding in March and “How Does Your Firm Measure Up?” in April. Further event details can be found in our EVENTS section.

Get someone else in on the fun and learning that goes on at SMPS programs, and get yourself in on the contest to win an IPod Nano™!

Bring a Pal, Win a Pod!

SMPS has been invaluable to me, giving me the opportunity to network with people in the built industry. Having spent 15 years in the automotive industry, I needed a head start on understanding what criteria are important to this industry and who was doing business with whom.
