When joining an organization it is important not only to become a member but to also become involved at every level. After only a few years of being a member of SMPS Michigan, I have served on the membership committee and the Board of Directors. It is within the committees and on the Board that you can find and create lasting relationships as well as a solid network not only for yourself but your company.
