Overview:
David Staley will present an overview of the practice of strategic futuring, and offer a number of future scenarios companies should consider as part of their strategic planning initiatives.
In uncertain economic times, it is especially important to anticipate and respond to changes in the global marketplace. Strategic futuring is a source of innovation, the difference between your company becoming irrelevant or a leading-edge firm. The presentation will present techniques for making these future scenarios “strategically actionable.”

He has worked with clients from diverse industries—from insurance to publishing to polymers to engineering—on trend scanning, implications assessment and thought leadership. He is a principal with Futuring Associates, LLC and is president of Columbus Futurists, the local chapter of the World Future Society.
