Presenter:
Anne Scarlett, LEED AP, President of Scarlett Consulting, offers her clients hands-on attention and A/E/C industry-specific marketing expertise. Her diverse insights come from over 19 years of consulting to — and working directly for — an array of reputable firms ranging in size, discipline, and focus: Perkins & Will; Holabird & Root; CUH2A; Nagle Hartray. Anne also served as the Principal and Director of the Marketing Consulting Group for ZweigWhite. As Scarlett Consulting, her client reach extends to include construction giants such as Gilbane, Walsh Construction, and Faithful & Gould.

An advocate of relationship-building through effective communication and networking, Anne has provided board-level leadership to organizations such as Corporate Real Estate Women (CREW). She is also Past-President of the Chicago Young Executives’ Club (YEC). Anne is frequently published in a range of industry publications: Modern Steel Construction, CE News, The Zweig Letter and AE Marketing Letter (published by ZweigWhite), A/E Rainmaker (published by PSMJ Resources), RainToday, and Structural Engineer. She is a dynamic public speaker, and has addressed national audiences at Pathway to Principal, AE Marketing Now, Buildings Conference, and Land Development East. Her blog, the Scarlett Letter, is published twice-weekly. As well, she is often invited to speak at regional functions hosted by professional groups such as the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). To transfer knowledge to our future leaders, Anne serves as an adjunct professor at Columbia College in Chicago.

Anne holds an M.S. in Communications from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Interior Design from Indiana University. When she is not hard at work helping firms to grow their businesses vis-à-vis marketing/business development, Anne — an artist at heart — can be found globe trotting in search of color imagery to add to her travel photography portfolio.
