Barbara Shuck Bio
Barbara D. Shuck, FSMPS, CPSM, has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, business development, sales and publishing. She has worked exclusively in the A/E/C industry since 1994, and is currently Vice President, Marketing Director at Emc2 Group Architects Planners, PC, in Mesa, Arizona. She is currently serving on the National Board as Secretary/Treasurer for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). She was a co-author of the 2009 SMPS Foundation White Paper “Social Networking for Competitive Advantage: How professional services firms differentiate themselves to win work, recruit, and retain talent.” She was awarded the Pinnacle Achievement Award for the Arizona Chapter of SMPS in 2004, and served as President in 2002-03. She served as Chair of the Conference Committee for the SMPS Build Business National Conference in Denver in 2007-08, and previously served as Chair of the Marketing Communication Awards Committee in 2005-2006. She received a Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, AZ), and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and French from Washburn University (Topeka, KS).
Dana Galvin Bio
Dana Galvin, CPSM is marketing manager at Barton Malow Company. Dana holds a bachelors degree in marketing communications and an MBA. With nine years of experience in the AEC industry, Dana has worked on various marketing programs including Barton Malow’s award-winning Build Green Campaign. Most recently, Dana developed Barton Malow’s corporate social media policy and strategic plan and is implementing that plan today.
